Plans for PENFEST 2017 are well under way. There are many exciting events planned and we hope you will find something of interest. The aim of Penfest is two-fold: to bring events and arts to people of Penicuik in convenient locations and at affordable prices and to offer a stage for local artists and musicians to show off their talents.

FESTIVAL CONCERT

[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image source=”external_link” external_img_size=”medium” onclick=”custom_link” qode_css_animation=”” custom_src=”http://www.christinebovill.com/uploads/3/4/9/8/34981392/9377549.jpeg” link=”https://penicuikarts.org/event/festival-concert-2/”][vc_column_text]Christine Bovill will headline this year’s Festival Concert. Christine is much in demand.  LONDON-BERLIN-PENICUIK sums up her commitments for that week. Her Fringe show based on the songs of Edith Piaf is highly commended. According to the Scotsman “it is her ability to become utterly possessed by these songs…….the effect can be electrifying” We are delighted to bring such an international artist to Penicuik and for a very reasonable ticket price.  Ticket prices are lower in Penicuik than Edinburgh and it is much more convenient.

Also appearing are Besslack HS Jazz orchestra and Bhangra Crew.(Bhangra is an energetic folk dance from the Punjab)

Tickets are £12 (£10 for PCAA/PFC members and school students)
