EXHIBITION OPENS SUNDAY 2ND SEPTEMBER 2.00PM -4.00PM   Nancy was the worthy winner of last year's Penicuik Turner prize with this stunning painting of grasses in moonlight. This year she is giving a solo exhibition in the cafe gallery. Openings are free and all are welcome The exhibition will then run from Monday to Saturday 10.00am till 4.00pm (closed Sundays) until Saturday the 6th October.

      Moira leads a creative writing workshop for older children in primaries 4 to 7. Children are given the freedom to create and share their own stories. The stories will then be available to read in the Arts Centre for the duration of the festival.  Older children will be thrilled to see their work displayed and to be able to bring their friends and family to see it.   We all have a story to tell. This is a memoir-writing workshop, suitable for writers with all levels of experience, to encourage participants to tell their own stories.           Catharine Davison hails from Northern Ireland moving to Edinburgh in 2007. She was inspired by the city's panoramas and vistas and has developed her own style of painting referencing the plein air tradition and contemporary art practices.
