Nancy Bryce; winner Penicuik Turner Prize 2017 The Penicuik Turner Prize Exhibition opens on Saturday the 1st September from 2.00pm till 4.00pm. It is then open from 10.00am till 4.00pm Monday till Saturday and will close with the announcement of the winners on Sunday the 9th September from 2.00pm till 4.00pm.   Opening of exhibiton Sunday 2nd September 2.00pm till 4.00pm West Street Arts Centre 4 West Street, Penicuik EH26 9DL Nancy was the worthy winner of last year's Penicuik Turner prize with this stunning painting of grasses in moonlight. This year she is giving a solo exhibition in the cafe gallery.   Catherine Simpson leads this writers' workshop for adults with the emphasis on writing a memoire. Catherine is a poet, journalist and short story writer. Her first novel, "Truestory" was published by Sandstone Press in 2015. She received the Scottish Book Trust New Writer's Award for the opening chapters of this novel.   Catharine Davison hails from Northern Ireland moving to Edinburgh in 2007.
