Story Telling for Nursery Children
Sunday, September 15 @ 10:00 - 11:00Free
We are delighted this year to welcome Lea Taylor as our storyteller. Lea has delighted audiences with her storytelling both nationally and internationally for many years.. Family audiences warm to her engaging repertoire which often includes audience participation of one form or another. Be prepared for laughter, listening and perhaps a bit of role play. Lea is the author of popular children’s books ‘Midlothian Folk Tales’ and ‘Animals Beasties and Monsters of Scotland.’ Lea is the author of the popular children’s books “Midlothian Folk Tales” and “Animals, Beasties and Monsters of Scotland”
Lea in her own words:
“My school reports always said I talked too much. Little did they know it was an insight of things to come. I loved words right from the outset – powerful, magical, curious things to be played, explored and experimented with – taken for a spin on page or tongue. Try it, you’ll be surprised.
Now I’ve turned that curiosity into a dream job. I’m living on my words! Successful Storyteller, Writer, Poet and Playwright”
Lea’s sessions have a reputation for being exciting and engaging – never dull..
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
(and conversely all adults must be accompanied by at least one child to come)
Session sponsored by Taylor Wimpey.
