Dr Jamie Reid Baxter has been staging, sponsoring and participating in live performances of Renaissance Scottish drama, poetry and music since 1982. Since 1993 he has published and lectured widely on the history, music, literature and religious life of sixteenth and early seventeenth century Scotland, including books on the poetry of Elizabeth Melville in 2010 and the Dunfermline composer Jhone Angus in 2011. Be warned, he frequently breaks into song to illustrate his talks.
