Three poets and four musicians combine their talents to present this very popular evening of poetry and music in Rosslyn Chapel.

Poets are:

Professor Alan Riach is a Scottish poet and academic. He was born in 1957 in Airdrie, Lanarkshire and studied at Cambridge and Glasgow. He is the author of several books of poetry including Arts of Independence, Arts of Resistance and Homecoming; new poems 2001-2009

Pauline Prior-Pitt‘s poetry readings attract large audiences at festivals and literature events. She has appeared on Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour, Pick of the Week and With Great Pleasure, and on Channel 4 and Central Television. Her collection North Uist Sea Poems won the Callum Macdonald Memorial Award for pamphlet poetry in 2006.

Henry Marsh was born in Broughty Ferry in 1944 nd started writing poetry in 2000 following the death of his friend, the poet Donald Mac Donald in South Lochboisdale . 4 collections of hi work have been published to date.

The Miguda  string quartet complements the poetry readings with sensitive interpretations of classical pieces.
