Penicuik Turner Prize Award 2015

The Annual Open Exhibition will be shown for a final time between 2.00pm and 4.00pm. Grab your last opportunity to vote for the People’s Choice and to buy an original work of art. Voting for the People’s Choice closes at 2.30pm and the winners of the People’s Choice and the Penicuik Turner prize will be announced shortly after 3.00pm.

This is a free event and is always a popular end to the exhibition.

The Judge


We are delighted to have Damian Callan judge this year’s Penicuik Turner Prize Competition.

Damian is an Edinburgh based artist and teacher who specialises in figurative paintings. His colourful paintings often show seascapes and people. He is author of the books “How to Paint Like Degas” and “How to Paint Like Renoir”

Ulla Hipkin, local painter and PCAA founder member, will present this year’s People Choice Award.
