Classical Sunday – Miller Violin Duo

For the third in our series of classical concerts we are delighted to welcome this young duo.

Alison Miller studied at the Royal Conservatoire graduating with first class honours in 2013. Danny also studied at the Royal Conservatoire and then in Salzburg with Prof Igor Ozim at the Mozarteum Universitat.

Both enjoy freelance careers as soloistsworking at home and abroad. At home they freelance with the orchestras of Scottish Ballet and Scottish opera.

 

Their repertoire covers a range of genres from baroque through to 20th Century and Scottish traditional music.

Music by Telemann, Stamitz, Mozart, Burns, Bartok, Paganini and Wieniawski. all feature in the afternoon programme.
