BURNS SUPPER

Saturday, January 25, 2020 @ 19:00 - 22:00

£15

This year we are delighted to have Sir Geoff Palmer proposing the Immortal Memory. Sir Geoff is widely known in Penicuik as a supporter of local organisations and an active member of our community. Of course he is more widely known as a human rights activist and is Professor Emeritus in the School of Life Sciences at Heriot Watt University

Our MC for the evening is Brian Miller, the haggis will be addressed by Eric Platten, Hugh Munro will toast the lasses and Jan Miller will reply. After the formal speeches the floor is open and the whole thing finishes when we run out of energy.

There will be a traditional supper of haggis, neeps and tatties followed by biscuits and cheese and tea or coffee.

There is no bar at this event. Bring you own refreshment.

Tickets are £15 and are available by emailing Jackie at jmcdonaldjmm@aol.com or phone 01968 675 661 (email is the preferred method)
